Beyoncé has reportedly hired six nannies for the twins... It's The Dredge

Here’s your celeb dirt for the day.

EVERY WEEKDAY MORNING, DailyEdge.ie rounds up the best of the day’s celebrity dirt from the top to the very bottom.

OK! Magazine have reported that Jay Z and Beyoncé have splashed out and hired six individual nannies to assist them with raising twins Rumi and Sir. Incredibly, they are also apparently being paid $100,000 each.

The reason that so many nannies are necessary is that the twins reportedly sleep at opposite times, which means three nannies are needed per child working in eight hour shifts.

They’ve enlisted another two nannies to make sure that five-year-old Blue Ivy doesn’t feel left out by the attention that the twins are getting. Sure, it’s a lot of help, but once the nannies are being paid properly, who cares? Countless people would be willing to work for Beyoncé and Jay-Z for free, yet they’re still paying $100,000 per nanny.

It’s a lot more than can be said for Irish parents who hire au pairs and pay them €100 per week. (Metro)

X Factor star Honey G has come out as gay. The rapper from Harrow, UK, whose real name is Anna Gilford finished fifth on The X Factor last year, despite all odds and accusations that she was mocking black culture through her performances.

Now she has come out as a lesbian. “I do worry about homophobia. I feel now is the right time to let everyone know that I’m gay.”

She did not mention it sooner as she was “shy and guarded” when she first entered the music industry and was worried about what people would think. During her audition, Simon asked her if she had a boyfriend, to which she answered ‘no’. At that moment she knew she was not ready to announce her sexuality to the world.

She’s still single now but is “looking for that special someone.” Her coming out announcement was accompanied by a nude photoshoot in The Sun. (NME)

Rick Ross has come under fire for making misogynist comments this week. The 41-year-old rapper spoke to The Breakfast Club morning radio show and said that hiring female rappers is a bad business move. Therefore, he cannot sign female artists to his label because he would “probably end up f**king them.”

He went on to add that he’d end up “spending so much money on her photo shoots [that he'd have to] f**k her a couple times.” Ahead of the interview he posed for a photo where he ‘jokingly’ grasped Angela Yee, the only of The Breakfast Club’s three hosts that challenged his sexist comments.

In 2013, he had to issue an apology after releasing a song for releasing a song with a verse that condoned date rape. The lyrics were:

Put Molly all in the champagne/She ain’t even know it/ I took her home and I enjoyed that/She ain’t even know it.

Molly is slang for the drug MDMA. (Huffington Post)
